Well, good night. I have a question. I want to use Ezcast in this scenario: 1. Windows 8/10 Laptop; 2. Kodi (XBMC); and 3. But I want to cast live stream or IPTV (TV programs).

I tried this sequence: 1. Setup Kodi: a. Use Kodi as DLNA/UPNP server. To enable this, I went to Settings -> Services -> UPnP/DLNA and enabled 'Share my libraries' and 'Look for remote UPnP players'.

Setup Windows: a. Connect the TV with Windows. Depending on the OS (assuming Windows 8.1), I went to Side bar -> Configurations -> Change computer configurations -> Computer and devices -> Devices -> Add device. When the OS connects with my Ezcast, this part is finnished.

Playercorefactory> However I can't seem to get it to work. All the paths seem to be fine and the video I am trying to play is a MP4 file. Just did a couple of tests. If I was to play a local video file it will launch MPC-HC just fine. I'm having issues launchin videos from KissAnime and FoodNetwork so far.

Push a video to my TV via right clicking it and selecting 'play using.' Sending the stream (or video) to the TV with Kodi. I went to the item you would like to watch, trigger the context menu and select 'play using.' Then I could select the UPNP device (my Ezcast) to push the item to my TV. That said, It worked with video files and internet movies but not with IPTV (TV channels) or live streams like Youtube and Twitch.
