I tried a BRAND NEW 128GB SSD on my PC. I've installed the Windows 10 PRO/64/16GB-RAM. After all Microsoft updates, I was able to install the Photoshop Elements 14 for the FIRST TIME without any problems. BUT my other SSD, 500GB Samsung, that I use in the same computer, just to boot with it for personal use, the Photoshop Elements 14, that I've tried to register many times, STARTED TO WORK without any problems!????? AND without me doing anything!!! What the heck is going on?

I just re-installed a customer's computer with fresh Windows 10 Home Premium, 24GB-RAM, 256GB SSD drive. And after all of the Microsoft updates, I've tried to install the same Photoshop version 14, as I had so much trouble to install on my own PC, and IT ALSO FAILED to install! So I did exactly what I did on my personal PC, I downloaded the 30 day eval version and tried to register it, BUT IT DID NOT REGISTER - just like in my case! Over the next several hours, I had to install on the same computer - the customer's PC I'm talking about - Microsoft Word, Excel. And I had to run some updates. This morning -this is the next day by now - I tried to register the customer's purchased Photoshop Elements 14 and IT WORKS!!! NOW Adobe, I have a QUESTION: 'What the heck is going on?????'

Why are SO MANY PEOPLE HAVING TROUBLE with the Adobe Photoshop 14???? Why didn't you made a FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM???? Adobe KNOWS that this problem exists, but is not telling anything publicly! My customer and I PURCHASE PROGRAMS, not use available CRACKED VERSIONS but WE ARE PUNISHED by Adobe's copy protection! Now I start to understand why some people are so angry with Adobe!

I also emailed them, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY ANSWERS! ALSO, THERE is NO PHONE NUMBER ONE CAN CAL TO RESOLVE THIS! ONE MUST DO SO MUCH extra steps and do this and that, just to have MY PURCHASED SOFTWARE WORKING! One way is to let Adobe know that we do not like this, is to LOOK FOR A SOFTWARE THAT WORKS EVERY TIME and it ISN'T ADOBE!!!!! I have also 2 DVD's, but the other is only ADOBE PHOTOSHOP PREMIERE ELEMENTS 14 TRIAL INCLUDE - that is what the second DVD is. My box said that it has MAC and WINDOWS version, but the MAC version was not in the box. The box had the original seal from Adobe and the serial number is on ONE white DVD envelope, where the WINDOWS version of #14 is.

The second disk has a number on the first line of the sticker, no letters used. The second line has stuf like: DVS/A,PSE. And similar letters in upper case divided by COMA. I purchased it from a reputable store that has also orders by the Internet, but not from eBay! Does anyone out there has a similar package?

NO MAC version is included, but on the front it clearly states WINDOWS/MAC OS, but NO MAC VERSION IS INSIDE? I've purchased every version of Photoshop Elements and they had the serial number on the back of the white DVD cover. BUT I also helped several customers to install the Photoshop Elements, where the instructions card instructs you to exchange the number listed for a serial number, just like you mention. I was never suspicious in this case, because everything is as it should with original Adobe boxes, seal was not re-taped or broken.

Also, when I spoke to the Adobe people SEVERAL TIMES, they asked for the serial number I have printed on the white cover and they said that the serial number IS VALID! They have, I assume, they have some program they use to check the validity of the serial numbers. They said: 'IT SHOULD WORK.' And the serial number I have was NEVER QUESTIONED by Adobe. Thanks everyone for replying, but I would like to see my purchased version installed and WORKING on my computer. I think that the copy-protection is trying to go to some server on the WEB and it can't do that!

I've asked if you guys can put the serial number into the software and have me download it, so this problem does not happen to me. If you look into the notes, I hope they are there, you can see all the useless stuff they had me do. The box was unopened, when I purchased it, so I do not believe that there is a problem with my serial number.
